The 2026 Lexus NX 350h and RX 350h are two great choices that have slight differences. That is why we here at Jim White Lexus of Toledo want to highlight the benefits of each model.
Performance
It’s important to note that the NX 350h is a compact SUV while the RX 350h is a midsize SUV. The NX 350h features a standard 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid engine that can produce up to 240 total system horsepower1. The RX 350h has a similar standard 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid engine with a comparable 246 combined horsepower2 output. Because of its larger stature, the RX comes with standard AWD. You’ll still be able to enjoy the added traction that this drivetrain offers in the NX since it has available AWD. But without it, the compact SUV has a 42/38/40 MPG city/hwy/combined3 fuel efficiency rating compared to the RX’s 37/34/36 MPG city/hwy/combined3 fuel economy score. While you weave through the streets of Toledo, you’ll also notice that the NX has a 38-ft turning circle. Despite the RX having a larger frame, it still manages to achieve a comparable 38.8-ft turning circle.
Interior
Both the 2026 Lexus NX 350h and the 2026 Lexus RX 350h come with the luxurious interiors that you’d expect, like standard 8-way power-adjustable front seats. In general the NX is more focused on the driver’s experience while the RX is catering to all its passengers, which is why the compact SUV has standard 2-way power lumbar adjustments for the front chair as well. Additionally, this is reflected in the standard dual-zone climate control in the NX that accommodates the front seats. The RX has standard multi-zone air conditioning that gives passengers in the back their own respite from the weather. Kids in the back of the RX can also enjoy heated and ventilated rear seats. When it comes to storage space, the smaller NX has up to 22.7 cubic ft. of space behind the rear seats4 with up to 46.9 cubic ft. with them folded4. On the other hand, the RX has more space behind the rear seats with 29.6 cubic ft. but less space with them folded down at 46.2 cubic ft.4.
Exterior
There’s no denying the style that exudes both Lexus model’s, but there are also slight differences between the two. Most notably, the NX reaches a 183.5-inch vehicle length while the RX has a larger 192.5-inch length. Beyond that, you’ll find that roof rails come standard on the NX but are an available feature on the RX. Both of these highlight the idea that the NX is more designed for versatility while the RX is a larger car for comfort. There’s also a lot that these models have in common as well, since both have available power moonroofs to let in some fresh air while you drive down I-75. Whether you’re carrying groceries or your kid’s football gear, both have an available Power Rear Door with Kick Sensor5 that can open automatically for you. “ We recently bought a 22 lexus from Jessica at Jim White. We drove nearly 2 hours to purchase the car. It was in great shape and the process to buy was seamless. After a week of owning the car, we discovered the rear cargo door was having trouble working correctly. We took it in to our local dealer at the discovered a minor repair was done on the bumper and it was not installed back correctly causing some of the wires to be pinched or sensors not plugged back in. This was subbed out by Jim white, so they are not to blame for the poor reinstall. Regardless, after contacting them, they promptly agreed to reimburse us for the labor cost to fix these issues. Jessica was great about making this happen in a timely manner and with providing us with updates on the status of the reimbursement. I would provide a 5 star review otherwise, but because of the inconvenience and hassle with not having a car for several days and it not being disclosed that a repair was done at purchase, I believe it merits 4 stars. I would not hesitate, however, to recommend them or to buy from them again in the future. ”
